Why we built it
You needed a JSON formatter. The site shipped a cookie banner, an email popup, two autoplay videos, and a loader spinner before the textarea rendered. That's the category we wanted out of.
Toolis is the version we use on our own machines: fast, local, no signup, no telemetry on payloads. Tools run client-side, so your input never touches our servers. No upsell modal. No "unlock with email." No "best price plan."
The free tier covers what devs reach for daily. Pro layers on sync, history, bigger file caps, and a few power-user tools. That subscription revenue plus client work on the agency side funds the ship cadence and keeps the free tools genuinely free.

Local-first by default
Your input never leaves the tab. Tools run client-side, payloads stay on your machine, no server round-trips for work the browser can already do.
No ads. No trackers.
Tools pay for themselves through Pro and agency work. No banner ads, no popups, no third-party pixels watching what you paste.
Ship every month
New tools land regularly, driven by what devs actually request. The changelog is the proof — public, dated, no marketing fluff.
Honesty over hype
If a tool has a limit, the page says so. No "world's fastest". No "best-in-class". Just what it does, where it breaks.
